This is a show stopping necklace from the estate of an opera singer. The piece is composed of a platinum and diamond Art Deco double clip that was made into a necklace in the 1970's. The necklace has one hundred and forty-eight full cut and European cut diamonds that are bead set and thirty-four baguette and emerald cut diamonds that are channel set for a total weight of 8.68 carats. The diamonds' average quality is; EF color grade, VVS clarity grade, and excellent cut and polish. The quality of craftsmanship indicates it was probably made by Tiffany or Cartier.
The necklace measures 16 inches and center platinum section measures 2.25 inches (70.5mm) in width by 1.75 inches (44mm) in height.
